Automotive Relay
An automotive relay is an electrical device that allows a low-power signal to control a high-power circuit in a vehicle. It is typically used to control various electrical components such as the starter motor, headlights, fuel pump, cooling fan, and more. The relay consists of a coil, a set of contacts, and a housing. When a low-power signal, usually from a switch or a control unit, is applied to the coil, it generates a magnetic field that pulls the contacts together, closing the circuit and allowing the high-power current to flow through.
